My First Visit To Brighton
April 2, 2018
In February 2018 me and my partner Josh spent the weekend in Brighton.
We spent the weekend exploring and here is what we found:
1. The Pier
Brighton Pier is the most obvious attraction and is surprisingly bigger than it looks from shore.
It has arcades, rides, food and a beautiful view.
Definitely worth a visit!
2. Art work
We explored The Lanes of Brighton and found art work everywhere.
The art brings character to the city and is fun to find.
3. Shops & pubs
Brighton has a variety of shops and pubs to explore, my favourite shop was England At Home.
Full of quirky cute home items, see there website here: England At Home
My favourite restaurant has to be Lucky Beach.
Luck Beach serves up very nice vegan friendly food that is affordable considering your eating right on the beach.
See more here: Lucky Beach
4. The Grand Hotel
We stayed at the Grand Hotel having dinner and cocktails in the restaurant, which is definitely worth the money.
I had fresh crab to start and a steak for mains, it was absolutely delicious.
The hotel itself is full of character and beauty, with very friendly staff happy to help.
5. Rubber Ducks
Rubber duck everywhere!
They even have their own store and story.
6. The Beach
Of course the beach!
No matter how cold it was we couldn’t leave Brighton without stepping foot on the beach, we found some brave people were even going in for a swim.
Over all Brighton definitely did not disappoint, I will return but maybe when the weather is warmer.
I’d love to know what your thoughts of Brighton are, feel free to leave a comment below!
